College Bound Leadership and Mentor Program

(A New Standard In Youth Sports)

Welcome to Outsource Sports College Bound Program where we provide both academic and athletic support for our Showcase Athletes in grades 9 - 12 and their families.  We assist in making the dream of attending college a reality by helping the Student-Athlete prepare for college both on and off the court.  The following services are provided to the Student-Athlete and his/her family.

Through the Academic Program, Destination By Choice, the Student- Athlete will meet 4 hours per month in a group setting with their peers and Athletic Counselor to define their College and Career goals and opportunities.  This program assist in preparing Student-Athletes for college by providing on-going support through tracking CORE CLASSES to make sure he/she is taking required college prep courses and maintaining at least a 2.5 GPA.  Preparation Classes/ Workshops for the PSAT and ACT will also be available to assess the students strengths and weaknesses and help us better prepare the student mentally and physically in taking the tests.  Students-Athlete will receive information on national testing dates for the SAT and ACT.  Student-Athletes are expected to score at least 820 on the SAT( Math and Verbal Combined) and a 68 on the ACT.

During the school year we communicate with the Student-Athlete's guidance counselor every 3-6 weeks to ensure that the student is maintaining required grades.  Student-Athlete will receive assistance with the completion of college applications and recruitment process.  Workshops will be available for parents to address some of the questions that may arise during the recruitment process.  Our Counseling Department will address Life Skills and Family Issues.

On the court, the College Bound Showcase Players are taken through an evaluation process to accurately assess the player's skill level.  Each player will receive an Individual Workout Plan with goals and objectives to reach while they are in the Showcase Program.  Each Player has a detail Player Profile and is listed in our Top Gun College Recruit Database.  Each player will be invited to  College Showcases and a Recruiting Package will be sent to College Coaches that express interest in our Players.  To checkout the "Stars of the Future" please access our Top Gun Middle School database.  Both the Middle School and College Bound Programs will participate in AAU and YBOA competition.
